The ‘Ardor 2.1’ restaurant in Delhi’s Connaught Place has launched a 56-inch Bahubali ‘Modi ji’ thali. The owner of the restaurant, Suveet Kalra told that if you gobble up this plate within 40 minutes, you can leave after winning Rs 8.5 lakh.
During a conversation with Local 18, the owner of the restaurant, Suveet told that this restaurant started in 2012. While inspired by PM Narendra Modi, the plate with ‘Modi ji’ was launched in 2022. Also told that earlier he has launched many types of plates including digital cryptocurrency plate, plate with map of India.
56 types of bhog and plate weight
According to Suvit Kalra, just like the name of this thali, you get to eat 56 types of bhog in this thali. The vegetarian thali includes favorites like Kashmiri Dum Aloo, Paneer Lababdar, Malai Kofta, Dal Tadka and a variety of breads along with Raita and Lassi. On the other hand, in the non-veg thali, here you will get mutton, chicken dishes as well as green vegetables, paneer, rice, mixed bread and sweets. The weight of this thali is 8.5 kg, which includes 5.5 kg food and 3 kg beverages. Here you will get vegetarian thali with Rs.2599 plus tax. While non veg thali will be available with Rs 2899 plus tax.
These are the rules and timings of Thali Challenge
Suveet told that this Thali Challenge is for 2 people. Two people together have to finish it within 40 minutes. There are different types of bread in the plate, the number of which is around 16. This is the toughest challenge. Also told that out of many people who came to do this challenge, 2 people have also completed it. To complete this Thali Challenge, you can come anytime between 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday.

To reach Ardor 2.1 restaurant, you have to get down at Rajiv Chowk Metro station by Blue Line Metro. You will find these restaurants in Block N, Outer Circle, Connaught Place, Delhi, as soon as you exit Gate No. 2. This restaurant is open seven days a week. Throughout the year, this restaurant will be closed only on the day of Diwali.
